Kim Mee-Sook

Abstract
Recently, in our society, foods and household items with the prefix ¡°Drug-¡± such as ¡°Mayak Gimbap¡± and ¡°Mayak Pillow¡± are popular on the Internet and in daily life. In recent years, drug cases including propofol misuse of famous celebrities have often made headline news. This study aimed to explore the current status of product use under the name of ¡°drugs¡±, which is popular among the smart generation in Korea, and to derive social and cultural implications. This study collected and analyzed data through internet searches from April 2020 to June 2021 using situation analysis, a qualitative research method. First, the researcher looked at the rankings 1-10 on desktop computers and smartphones, which were automatically completed with the keyword ¡°drugs¡± in Naver and Daum search boxes. And, the researcher searched Naver Shopping and Naver Blog to explore the Internet, political, social, and cultural environments for using ¡°drug-¡±products. The findings are as follows. The ¡®drug-¡¯ brand is deeply engraved into people¡¯s daily lives. In a society with competition and stress, people live in a social and cultural situation where drugs are readily available on the internet.
There is a lot of information being shared about ¡®drug-¡¯ products on the internet, but some people didn¡¯t understand the true meaning of addiction. Regarding the ¡®drug-¡¯ trademark, the position to restrict the use of the trademark and the position to register the trademark are opposed to each other. ¡®Drug-¡¯ sleeping products were found to be related to stress, competitive society, fatigue society, lack of sleep, deep sound sleep, IT environment, home shopping, Naver blog, narcotics stimulant methamphetamine, sleep inducer propofol, etc. If people look for a ¡®drug-¡¯ pillow today for a good night¡¯s sleep, but are more likely to find propofol tomorrow, the prevalence of ¡®drug-¡¯ sleeping products can be seen as a risk factor predicting substance abuse. The results were presented as situational map, relational map, and social worlds/arena map using situational analysis.
